The Island of Huge Hamsters and Giant Owls

Back in the late Miocene epoch, there was an island--or maybe a group of islands-- in the Mediterranean Sea that was populated with fantastic giant beasts. It’s a lesson in the very strange, but very real, powers of natural selection.

I lived on an island for most of my life and then I moved to the mainland and I was the tallest in my class.

As it turns out, and maybe in our lifetime this will be our greatest revelation, there were 'actually' giant creatures and humanoids on this planet, who either became so advanced that they left, or they were taken off this planet by someone else - seemingly willingly.

The Native-Americans also have the same stories as that of the far east, and there is proof across the globe. Kitchikewana, Gitchi Manitou, Metacomet, Nanabojo, Heno, all Giants of Canada, with known resting places, and footprints which have become footprint shaped lakes.

This planet was either terraformed, or massively altered - including mountains, canyons, and what lurks beneath.

Only time i saw a wild hamster was one rescued from a lab. But they were far less fluffy than your typical pet hamster. Size of a guinea pig.
