I think a neat question could have been "how would $1000 impact your life" or since it is opinions "receiving $1000 today would make a big change in my life"

Getting a poor person to understand a rich person is like asking a fly to do calculus. They are a different breed altogether. That's why they're poor - they lack the biological mechanisms for independent thought so they must work to manifest the ideas of smarter men, and when they fail to do so, they get angry and upset at their superiors. A person with rich genetics in that same position would realize that they are toiling to fill another man's pockets, and devise a way to create their own business. It is simply nature playing itself out on a grand scale. rK selection theory, if you will. Idiots breed faster but accumulate fewer resources. Cool video though! Are you on BitChute?

I think the discussion was pleasant, but because they took people from the high end of both spectrums it sort of falls on deaf ears. The rich people were talking as as though they’ve been spiritually enlightened by having to transcend worldly goods. But the poor people make ~30k. Between THREE people. Those people are so far from spiritual enlightenment, their hierarchy of needs barely comes off the ground.

I understand that they were trying to tell these people that excessive money and power won’t do anything, but those people don’t haven’t even met the “satisfied” criteria. I’m one person and I made more than all three of them combined. And I STILL struggle. I don’t want to here from someone who is way better off than me that I don’t need certain things like I think I do.

The rich will never understand the poor because the rich are too consumed by greed.

What's a basic thing : if you put a whole lot of time, energy and love in something, (specially doing all this to help, or make others to feel better), it must be respected some way. And this idea is what I miss from society... while money is often easy to make if you act like a jerk, and don't care about others, and their feelings.
