Nice - QUESTION - Does my 2015 Silverado 6.2 have an "LS" engine in it? I don't understand what LS means or is but I keep hearing that it is the best GM engine but I am not sure if I have one.... If not, did I order it wrong somehow? Why didn't the dealer tell me to order the LS?

I’ve got a built LS1 motor in a 1998 SS Camaro that I put 140k miles on. I raced the car in an open road race in Nevada at 150 mph and drove home. Car has never skipped a beat ended up giving it to my son and he will prob put 100k miles on it. Nothing beats an LS motor.

i couldn’t agree more about stock intakes... Those stock aluminum intakes that came on small blocks kicks ass. Didn’t realize it until rules said i had to.

LS engines are great truck engines, but it's technology is is last generation. When we raced 2 valve motorcycles, when 4 valve engines entered the scene, we were blown away with 4 valve engines that were bone stock. As far as the Y block, Ford had all these features in 1966 and even earlier in their FE engines. The future of power is with 4 valve engine
