Ho ho ho! The holidays are here! And you know what that means… Christmas movies! But I’m actually going to but a pause on that excitement for one moment because there’s something I want to talk about. Growing up, I watched tons of animated holiday films. One in particular stuck with me though: Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. Sure the film was charming, but that wasn’t the reason why it stuck with me… It’s because there was a hidden connection between the characters that wasn’t explained. Santa has a missing son and I’m going to prove it!

While I do find the theory interesting, I do not believe the theory for a few reasons.

    1. Just because Rudolph was referenced in Santa Claus is coming to town does not mean that all of those specials are set in the same universe.
    2. In Santa Claus is coming to town, the elves were one family and they were all dudes aside from the leader and in Rudolph, that is clearly not the case.
    3. I always thought that the red haired kid at the end of Santa Claus is coming to town was a girl, and there were other kids there so where did they go?
    4. In Santa Claus is coming to town, the narrator references Rudolph which means that the scenes with the narrator take place after Rudolph which means that the little red haired kid was definitely not ukon.
    5. At the end of Santa Claus is coming to town, the red haired kid wasn’t at Santa’s worship but at a town near it which I guess means that Santa’s hiding out plan failed.

    So there is my evidence.
